Cory W.

Cory Wasilew started with the original Metro Bobcat, which was the company prior to CLN. During his career, he worked on Ervay Street, in the original CLN McKinney location; in Irving’s shop and then in a job trailer; in Lewisville; and wrapped up his career in Longview. Anytime that Cory was called upon, he rose to the challenge. He was proud of the used machine prep work as well as being a part of the Lewisville location building process, both in design and hands on work with the floors.

Cory had a way of making heroes of his techs, raising them up on the clock thru the life that can happen outside the job, showing them grace when that life spilled over while building their skill set and confidence. In turn, he demonstrated confidence to customers that if they brought it to his shop, their machine or attachment would be fixed right the first time. That confidence built our shop and field business in East Texas.

Longview held a fish fry for Cory’s retirement attended by a group of over 50 people including original CLN employees, retirees Mitch Byrd and David Kale, employees from our other locations and some of Cory’s most loyal customers. Cory has been a legendary figure in our success, and will be missed by so many of us. His legend will be told in phrases and stories that those of us who worked beside him will recognize instantly.
